Hey Torrid Lovelies! Sorry for the hiatus!

But we're back and more FABULOUS than ever :)

But welcome to this wonderful, BABY PINK, edition of my Torrid blog :)

We've got a lot to catch up on!

Firstly, the wonderful Torrid, threw me a 'congrats party' and it was just wonderful :) What girl wouldn't love a party in their honor at the wonderful Torrid?! A huge thank you goes out to everyone who stopped by and the FABULOUS ladies, who work at Torrid, couldn't have done it without you!

But besides that, you may be wondering why I chose to make this week the baby pink edition,

WELL this whole month, everyone INCLUDING TORRID are supporting breast cancer month, and I wanted to show my support too! All this month, Torrid is showing their Power of Pink, and all of their Breast Cancer Awareness merchandise, GIVES BACK to The National Breast Cancer Foundation. ALSO, If you make a donation, you will automatically receive 10% off your next Torrid purchase! How awesome is that?! You get to help others, and look cute while doing it :)

SHE'S ALIVEE!

Hello Hello!

how's everyone? I've missed you guys! Sorry it's taken so long to make another post. Life's been crazy but I've finally found some time to talk to my fellow DIVAS :)

I don't know about you guys but, I just finished my first week of my junior year of high-school! It was hectic, tiring, exciting, and so much more! But, even though it was crazy, I made sure to look cute :) thanks to torrid of course!

Tarah's first day outfit;

I wore this cardigan, with a cute white tube top underneath! It was cool and breezy, and casual yet chic. With the rose cardigan I wore these 'Source of Wisdom' pull on jeans. If you do not own a pair of these, get off your computers RIGHT NOW and go get a pair. They're comfortable and fit perfectly, I've fallen in love :) Along with my jeans and my cardigan I wore some hot pink,strappy, Torrid sandals :) I felt comfortable and cute! Personally, I think that this summer/early school year's biggest trend would be DENIM. The perfect pair of jeans can easily make or break and outfit! I'm all about comfort, and to be able to find jeans at Torrid that are comfortable, and cute, it's a perfect pair!

This week's topic is all about back to school! I'm counting down the days until I must go back to backpack's and homework. Although back to school is an evil necessity, there's always ONE main key I always look forward too during school season...

SCHOOL CLOTHES SHOPPING! :)

So I'm going to talk about in this post is 2 main, 'back to school' clothes secrets :) The first one would be

Closet Shopping!

I always like to go through the clothes that I already have in my closet and my dresser before I go school clothes shopping to remind myself what I already have and what outfits I could put together. It would really stink to go out and spend TOO MUCH money of some clothes that you basically already have :)

My second fashion 'back to school' secret would be

to utilize your summer clothes into your school clothes!

If you're a girl who like tanktops, shorts, and dresses during the summer, don't fret! You can turn your summer clothes into appropriate school clothes!

For Example; You add the black, school friendly cardigan to this popular purple summer trend..

And you've got a school friendly, summer-ly outfit for the first day!

Ladies and Gentlemen;

Welcome to Summer 2009!

Hey Ladies! just catching up on some things I've missed. Summer 2009, has definitely been a great one, and it's only half way over! I've got some summer happenings in my life that I'd love to share with everyone!

I'mreally into singing and acting, aka; MUSICAL THEATRE! I'm invovled in a company called, KVPAC. Which is a community theatre in my town, and i love it :) As well as acting at KVPAC, I also work there! So thats basically what my summer has consisted of but, I love giving back to the community and spreading the arts :)

<- In this picture, I played Ms. Potts in Beauty and The Beast! It is one of the funnest roles I've ever played! The show was a hit and COMPLETELY SOLD OUT! :)

The summer trends are everything from short, babydoll dresses, too dark purple and black plaid shirts. I decided to get a little bit of both :)

I paired the navy cardigan, with the yellow blouse and a big chunky necklace. I also got a long, black, tank top cardigan to go with my black and white plaid halter. For a couple of years, the fashion has been skinny jeans, well the skinny jeans that I got have no zipper, they're pull up jeans, and fit like a glove! I love them! Most of my purchase contained of cardigans, because school season is coming up quicker than we think! You can pair all of your summer tanks with a nice cardigan so summer clothes are appropriate all summer long! :)

All you need to do is either download an application from the Torrid website, or you can get an application from a Torrid store. Fill out the application, and insert an 8x10 picture, (Head shot or body shot, OR BOTH!) and turn it in or mail it in,to your nearest Torrid store! Along with the Model Search, Torrid is also hosting a get together at their store July 17-18 for you to turn in your applications, network with other fashionistas, Shop with VIP saving, and free goodies for the first 100 shoppers!

If your thinking, "Me, a model?" Than stop right there! Yes YOU a model! Torrid is notorious for showing girls of all shapes and sizes that being trendy and feeling confident in yourself is just a few steps away! Torrid showed me to be comfortable in my own skin, and not to let anything hold me back! They could show YOU that too! So if you're a devoted Torrid girl than get your BOOTAY up and fill out your application! It's worth it, I swear!

I'm 16 years young and loving it! I love to hear other peoples

Random Facts?

- My parents were on the TLC t.v show, "Trading Spaces" when I was in 5th grade.

- I've been outrageously devoted to singing since day one, It's my absolute passion

and my goal one day is to share it with the world!

-Along with singing, I am also and actress and actually just finished the show,

"Beauty and The Beast" where I played Ms. Potts :)

- I work at a community theatre in my hometown, helping to teach little kids

how to express themselves through the arts, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.

- I sing in the varsity choir at my school and I am an actress in 2 different

acting companys, I love putting on a show!!

- Fashion is my outlet, its so creative and expresses, I JUST LOVE IT! It never

gets old. And it's something you'll have forever, keep adding and adding too

your wardrobe and it gets better and better!
